Kenny Johnson, of Conway, S.C., began Race Replicas in 1975 by building exact race car models for racers in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Prior to the time die-cast race cars were produced, Johnson was noted for his expertise in assembling model car kit race cars. Speedways since the mid-1990s. Besides the aforementioned tracks, his involvement in dirt racing in East Tennessee also includes duties at Newport Raceway and I-81 Motorsports Park.
